No Press Club meeting until Jan. 6

There will be no meeting of the Press Club on Dec. 23 or 30. We will start the new year on Jan. 6 with Adam Knapp, president and CEO of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber. On Wednesday, Jan. 8, we’ll have a special meeting at the usual time and place with Gov. Bobby Jindal as speaker. Here is a preview of other meetings:

Dr. Kurtz is recognized as one of the leading authorities on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. With the 50th anniversary of the JFK death, Dr. Kurtz will discuss assassination theories and the prospect for new information about the events in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963.
