The Press Club of Baton Rouge will not meet on Monday, Sept. 5, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Meetings will resume the following Monday, Sept. 12.

Barry Keim, the state climatologist, will be the guest speaker at the Press Club of Baton Rouge on Monday, Aug. 29. Keim will discuss the recent flooding and its root causes. Press Club meets on Mondays at the Belle of Baton Rouge Hotel, which is located at 102 France St., in the East and West Baton Rouge Room. Parking is free in the garage off Mayflower Street.
