State Sen. Bodi White to Speak at Feb. 27 Press Club

State Sen. Bodi White, R-Central, will address the Press Club at noon Monday, Feb. 27.

White will discuss his effort to form a new southeast Baton Rouge school district as well as issues related to the upcoming legislative session.

Press Club meets on Mondays at the De La Ronde Hall in downtown Baton Rouge at 320 Third St. Lunch, which is served at 11:30 a.m., is $12 for members and $15 for nonmembers.

The public is invited, but only members of the Press Club and members of the news media are allowed to ask questions during the question-and-answer portion of the program.


No Press Club on Feb. 20

The Baton Rouge Press Club will not meet Monday, Feb. 20 because of the Mardi Gras holiday.

The Press Club will meet again on Monday, Feb.27.
