She will discuss the implications of NIL (name, image, likeness) on college athletics and her job of overseeing NIL strategies at LSU, providing education, branding and opportunities to student-athletes.

He will discuss voter turnout for the primary election and projections for the general election. He will also give a wrap up on his tenure as the secretary of state before the new person is elected.

Three officials with the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), will discuss the organization’s strategic plan, LA23, at the Press Club of Baton Rouge on Monday, Oct. 9. They are Jim Patterson, vice president of government relations; Marie Centanni of Centanni Communications, manager of the plan; and Beverly Haydel of Sequitur Consulting, project director of the plan, which is a set of recommendations to help position Louisiana as a top-tier economic leader in the South by 2030.
