Cade Brumley, Louisiana Superintendent of Education, will be the guest speaker at the Press Club of Baton Rouge on Monday, June 5. Brumley will discuss the state of our schools 2022-2023, a legislative review, and priority areas of early childhood education, literacy, math, reimagining high school and school choice.

The Press Club of Baton Rouge will not meet on Monday, May 29, because of the Memorial Day holiday. Leaders of the Council for a Better Louisiana, the Public Affairs Research Council of Louisiana and the Committee of 100 for Economic Development will speak at the Press Club of Baton Rouge on Monday, May 22. They will present the latest recommendations for RESET Louisiana’s Future, a group collaboration that aims to educate the public and candidates for office ahead of the upcoming election on data and recommendations involving education, state finances, public safety and infrastructure. The organization was formed ahead of the 2019 elections.
