General Information

The Press Club meets at noon on Mondays at the Belle of Baton Rouge in the East and West Baton Rouge Room. Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m., the speaker goes on at 12:15 p.m. Lunch is $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers. The meeting adjourns at 1 p.m.

The Press Club of Baton Rouge is hosting a series of candidate forums. On Sept. 16, Commissioner of Insurance Jim Donelon and his opponent Tim Temple have confirmed. On Sept. 23, Gov. John Bel Edwards and his opponent Ralph Abraham have confirmed; Eddie Rispone has been invited. Sept. 30, State Senate District 14, Pat Smith and Cleo Fields. Oct. 7, State Senate District 15, Gary Chambers and Regina Barrow.
