Baton Rouge Press Club

Created in 1969, the Press Club of Baton Rouge promotes the news profession and provides opportunities for members of the press to communicate with each other, their sources and the general public.

No Press Club on May 30

The Press Club of Baton Rouge will not meet on Monday, May 30, because of the Memorial Day holiday. Weekly luncheon meetings will resume on June 6 at the Drusilla Seafood Restaurant. The speaker will be Baton Rouge Police Chief Murphy Paul.

General Information

The Press Club of Baton Rouge has weekly Monday luncheon meetings at Drusilla Seafood Restaurant with a sit-down meal served at noon. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. The speaker goes on at 12:15 p.m., and the meetings are over at 1 p.m. Cost for the lunch is $20 for Press Club members and $25 for nonmembers.
