UL System president to speak at Press Club on Dec. 2

University of Louisiana System President Sandra Woodley will address the Press Club of Baton Rouge on Monday, Dec. 2. She will discuss connecting students and employers as a component of the system’s strategic framework. Press Club meets on Mondays in the Iberville Room at the Belle of Baton Rouge Hotel, which is located at 102 France St. Parking is free in the garage off Mayflower Street. Southeastern Louisiana University history professor Michael Kurtz will address the Press Club of Baton Rouge on Monday, Nov. 18. Dr. Kurtz is recognized as one of the leading authorities on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. With the 50th anniversary of the JFK death, Dr. Kurtz will discuss assassination theories and the prospect for new information about the events in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963.
