Baton Rouge Press Club moves to Belle Hotel for meetings
Starting Monday, Sept. 16, the Baton Rouge Press Club will change location for its Monday meetings from the De La Ronde Hall downtown to the Belle of Baton Rouge Hotel, also downtown, at 102 France St.
The speaker for the Sept. 16 meeting is Bernard Taylor, superintendent of the East Baton Rouge School System, who will discuss improvements made in school scores.
Meeting times will stay the same. Lunch, which is served at 11:30 a.m., will remain at $12 for members and $15 for nonmembers. Parking, which is free, is in the garage at the end of the Atrium on Mayflower St.
