Belinda Davis, a political science professor at LSU, who is running for the Louisiana House representing District 70, will be the guest speaker at the Press Club of Baton Rouge on Monday, Oct. 21. Davis, a Democrat, is running against Barbara Freiberg, a Republican and former member of the Baton Rouge Metro Council, who will not be able to participate because of a scheduling conflict.
