U.S. Rep. Charles Boustany, a Republican who has represented Louisiana’s 3rd district since 2005, will speak at the Baton Rouge Press Club on Monday, Feb. 8. Boustany is expected to give an update on Louisiana issues in Congress, as well as his candidacy for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by David Vitter. Press Club meets on Mondays in the Iberville Room at the Belle of Baton Rouge Hotel, which is located at 102 France St. Parking is free in the garage off Mayflower Street. Lunch, which is served at 11:30 a.m., is $13 for members and $17 for nonmembers. The public is invited, but only members of the Press Club and the news media are allowed to ask questions during the question-and-answer portion of the program.
