The Press Club of Baton Rouge will host forums for the attorney general candidates on Sept. 28 and for the lieutenant governor candidates on Oct. 12. In between, on Oct. 5, Warren Drake, superintendent for the East Baton Rouge Parish School System, will be the speaker. Press Club meets on Mondays in the Iberville Room at the Belle of Baton Rouge Hotel, which is located at 102 France St. Parking is free in the garage off Mayflower Street. Lunch, which is served at 11:30 a.m., is $12 for members and $15 for nonmembers. The public is invited, but only members of the news media and Press Club are allowed to ask questions during the question-and-answer portion of the program.
