Corey Wilson, superintendent of the East Baton Rouge Recreation and Park Commission, known as BREC, will be the guest speaker at the Press Club of Baton Rouge on Monday, June 7. He will give an update on what’s next after deferment of Senate Bill 205 to break up the district. He will also discuss new construction projects underway.
Press Club meets on Mondays in the ballroom at the Drusilla Seafood Restaurant, which is located at the Drusilla Shopping Center at Drusilla Drive and Jefferson Hwy. Lunch, which is a sit-down meal served at noon, is $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers. Parking is free.
The public is invited, but only members of the Press Club and the news media are allowed to ask questions during the question-and-answer portion of the program.
