Barry Erwin will address tax reform at Press Club on March 4

Barry Erwin, president of Council for a Better Louisiana, will speak at the Baton Rouge Press Club on March 4. He will discuss tax reform, a topic for the Legislature for the first time in a number of years. CABL has been monitoring and analyzing proposals from the governor and legislators, as well as other state think-tank groups, and is making recommendations for meaningful tax reform to make the state more economically competitive.

Press Club meets on Mondays at De La Ronde Hall, which is located at 320 Third St. in downtown Baton Rouge. Lunch, which is served at 11:30 a.m., is $12 for members and $15 for nonmembers. The public is invited, but only members of the Press Club and the news media are allowed to ask questions during the question-and-answer portion of the program.
