Created in 1969, the Press Club of Baton Rouge promotes the news profession and provides opportunities for members of the press to communicate with each other, their sources and the general public.

General Information

The Press Club meets at noon on Mondays at the Belle of Baton Rouge in the East and West Baton Rouge Room. Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m., the speaker goes on at 12:15 p.m. Lunch is $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers. The meeting adjourns at 1 p.m.

The last Press Club meeting for 2018 will be Dec. 17. Speakers for the new year include Gov. John Bel Edwards, BRAC CEO Adam Knapp, Department of Health Secretary Rebekah Gee and Commissioner of Higher Education Kim Hunter Reed.
